I cannot praise the audiologists at Specsavers Hearing test centre highly enough. My 84 year old father put off his hearing test for so long that I contacted them on his behalf. They were the most friendly, helpful and honest people I've dealt with in a long time. They organised a home visit for his hearing test which was done this morning and left him with new hearing aids (in-ear type rather than his cumbersome older type), literature and all sorts of other things. I've just spoken to him on the phone and he can hear me properly for the first time in 4 years. It's a relief for him and me. He was extremely complimentary about the visit and service. No pressure for private consultations etc, 'NHS is just as good' I was told so it cost nothing either. Many thanks to them.
